12/28/2005 New Product Release APP Engineering will releases two types of current transformers.  The APP-00027 is a close pin or split core style current probe that allows for a none intrusive measurement and the APP-00028 is donut style closed loop torroid.  Either style current transformer can be used with the APP-501 Recorder instead of the built in current shunts.  These CT's can also be used for other applications such as watt-hour meters, sub-metering, and power monitoring.  Click here to learn more about the APP-0027.  Click here to learn more about the APP-00028.
